Street Eats, a Kailua village food truck festival, runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in Historic Kailua village.
Alii Drive will close to vehicle traffic since food trucks and food vendors will line the street.
The festival will offer a wide variety of cuisine options from food trucks, food vendors and restaurant pop-ups from around Hawaii Island.
Participants include Sel’s Lunch Wagon, K.O. Pizza, Indo Grindz, Gallery Cuisine, Sugar’s Hawaii-BBQ and Desserts, Prioshki, Texas Island BBQ, Troy Farms, SweetKine808, Hungry Honu, Tooth Sweets Mochi Co., Toasty Dogs, Hamakua Creations, Makana Glass and Things, Kailani Surf, Scandanavian Shave Ice, JJ’s Mini Orbits, HI Bao Delicacies, Kona Sandwich Company, Kaawaloa Food Supply Co., Kapua’s Snack Box, and Kona Coffee Outlet.
There also will be live entertainment and hula performances throughout the day at Emma’s Square.
Darlene Ahuna entertains on stage at 11:30 a.m. followed by Halau Ka‘eaikahelelani at 1:30 p.m. Hilo native Mark Yamanaka starts at 3 p.m. accompanied by Halau e Hulali Mai I Ka La.
Can’t make Saturday’s event? Street Eats will be back on Saturday, Dec. 2. Street Eats is made possible through the support of Hawaii Tourism Authority through the Community Enrichment Program and the Kailua Village Business Improvement District.
